Gotarzes I was the sixth King of Pars.
History[]
Gotarzes succeeded his father, Cinnamus.
He was succeeded by his cousin, Artabaz.
Etymology[]
Gotarzes is the Hellenized form of Parthian Gōtarz and means "ox-crusher." Its Persian form is Gudarz.
