Khurup has a short hair cut. He has grey hair, a black mustache and black eyebrows.

Khurup was one of the eight Marzbans present for the Battle of Atropatene, commanding 10.000 horseman. Khurup's superior was the King of Pars, Andragoras, and the Eran of Pars, Vahriz. The battle, however, proved to be a crushing defeat for Pars, and Khurup's fate remains unknown.
