The Kings of Pars were the rulers of the Kingdom of Pars. The line of the Kings would endure for over three hundred years, but would eventually fail with the death of King Arslan.

History[]

The origins of the Kings of Pars lie with the House of Kaykhusraw, and through Kaykhusraw the Kings claimed descent from the Jahangir.

Kaykhusraw was the first King of Pars, and with his enthronement began the Parsian Era. He unified the lands of Pars at the age of 25 and maintained peace throughout his reign. Kaykhusraw was succeeded by his younger son, Osroes I, after reigning for 27 years.
