The Marzbān was a military title and position of the Kingdom of Pars, signifying a leader of 10,000 cavalry.[1]
During King Andragoras III's reign, there were twelve of these commanders: Sām, Kubard, Shapur, Garshasph, Kharlan, Kishward, Manūchurh, Bahman, Khshaeta, Khurp, Khayr, and Daryun.[1]
