The Parsian Era, often abbreviated to P.E., began with the enthronement of Hero King Kaykhusraw, the first King of Pars, when he defeated and imprisoned the demon Zahhāk.
This age was characterized by the rise and decline of the Kingdom of Pars. It lasted for 325 years, until the Kingdom of Pars was destroyed, when the Line of Kings ended with the death of Arslan. The remaining members of the Camp of Arslan moved to Sindhura and led a Parsian community. About 45 years later, Elam, Kishward's son and grandson led an army in order to retake Peshawar from a new force, which had occupied the place. At that time, Rukhnabad accepted Rostam, Kishward's grandson, as its new master for the first time after Arslan's death.
