Tus (トゥース Tūsu? ) was the Garrison Commander of Zara.
Appearance[]
2013 Manga and Anime[]
In the 2013 manga and anime, Tus is bald and wears a green headband. He is heavily muscled and very physically strong, as shown by his ability to carry a bison on his shoulders prior to the siege of the Keep of St Emmanuel.
OVA Series[]
In the OVA Series, his face is not seen as he is wearing a helmet which covers it throughout the OVA.
Personality[]
He is a quiet and very serious person. He is on friendly terms with Isfan and Zarāvant, and appears to be the voice of reason amongst the three, talking down Zarāvant when he speaks out of turn regarding Prince Arslan's choice of confidants. An experienced commander, Tus does not display the same over-eagerness to prove his valour in battle as do his younger compatriots, and thus shows far greater situational and tactical awareness. Likewise, he is more willing to accept orders which he finds distasteful, such as when he accepted Narsus's decision to ignore Chassoom Fortress.
According to Kubard, he is hiding his lust, and Tus himself couldn't deny that[1].

Abilities[]
He is a master of using a chain weapon and also wields a sword. Tus is also skilled in the art of deception, having orchestrated the construction of a fake camp to deceive the Turanian army during their siege of Peshawar Fortress. It was this moment which enabled the Parsians to defeat the Turanians and emerge victorious, a feat for which Arslan publicly acknowledged him.
