Tigranes was the fourth King of Pars. He was the only child of Khashayar, son of Hero King Kaykhusraw.

History[]

Tigranes succeeded his cousin, Osroes II.

He was succeeded by his son, Cinnamus.

Etymology[]

Tigranes is the Hellenized form of Old Armenian Tigran, meaning "fighting with arrows."
