Zarāvant (ザラーヴァント Zarāvanto? ) was the son of the Lord Mundhir of Oxus and a member of the Camp of Arslan.

In the 2013 manga and anime, Zarāvant has brown hair, brown sideburn and brown eyebrows.
OVA Series[]
In the OVA Series, Zarāvant has dark brown hair, brown sideburn and brown eyebrows.
Personality[]
Zarāvant's social status led him to despise Jaswant and develop an animosity toward the Shinduran. Despite this, Zarāvant is a capable man who is able to understand his own mistakes and eventually accepted those in Arslan's inner circle. While his position naturally dictates that he should serve the ruling king, Zarāvant shows great visible frustration when seeing Andragoras III's callous treatment towards his own son, Arslan, by exiling the crown prince for his "crime."
Relationships[]
Jaswant[]
Zarāvant appears to hate Jaswant because of the latter's position in Arslan's inner circle whereas Jaswant is a Sindhuran of low birth.
Jimsa[]
Although Jimsa was a Turanian and an enemy at the time, they build a strong friendship. This was evident in Zarāvant's willingness to betray his own countrymen in order to rescue Jimsa from execution.
